A message from the founder, Sajed Motevallian

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Sustaingulf!

My name is Sajed Motevallian, and I am the founder of this platform. With professional experience in sustainability consulting in Germany and the Gulf region, particularly in sustainability reporting and environmental management, I launched Sustaingulf with the intention of “giving something back” to the region. This platform was created to address a clear gap: the need for sustainability insights that are tailor-made specifically for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Sustaingulf serves as a dedicated sustainability hub for the Gulf region. It provides tailored content, resources, and analysis designed to help organizations, businesses, and stakeholders better understand and engage with regional sustainability challenges and opportunities.

Our mission is to raise awareness, disseminate knowledge, and support sustainability progress across the GCC by delivering high-quality content in both English and Arabic.

Our vision is a more sustainable Gulf region in which environmental responsibility, economic growth, and social development advance together. We aim to translate global frameworks, such as ESG, climate, and biodiversity standards, into locally relevant insights that promote transparency, accountability, and innovation. Through its work, Sustaingulf seeks to inform, empower, and inspire decision-makers, companies, and communities to take meaningful steps toward a greener and more resilient future.
